With over 30 years of enterprise leadership across strategy, finance, and business transformation, Wole Ogundare founded Carthena Advisory to help organisations outperform in volatile markets, scale with discipline, and build lasting competitive advantage. Wole is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, with advanced management education from London Business School and Wits Business School. His career includes senior leadership positions as Managing Director of Yudala Limited (now Konga Online Shopping Limited), Account Management Director at Insight Publicis, and Partner at Phillips Consulting. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at QMBMart Limited and Arit of Africa Limited.

His core expertise spans economic intelligence, translating macroeconomic signals, geopolitical shifts, and competitive dynamics into actionable business insight through integrated forecasting and market analysis. In strategic management, he designs and executes strategies for business building, market expansion, and long-term sustainability across diverse sectors. His financial advisory work encompasses financial intermediation, corporate governance development, and forensic audit and investigation engagements. He is recognised for strengthening supply chains and value chains in emerging markets to unlock efficiency and protect margins, and contributes strategic oversight and governance discipline through non-executive director roles across technology and retail businesses.

Wole's engagement portfolio spans natural resources and infrastructure, services and technology, and consumer goods, giving him a cross-sector perspective that strengthens every advisory engagement. He has led transformative initiatives alongside international development agencies, implemented turnaround programmes that produced sustainable business partnerships, and spearheaded comprehensive corporate governance frameworks for organisations at critical inflection points.
